How long do you drain your deep cycle battery before charging?

Will be camping without shore power for my first time this upcoming week. I have an inverter generator and this battery: https://www.interstatebatteries.com/products/srm-24/rv-equipment?search=true

In terms of the battery, I've seen quite a bit of conflicting info for how low the voltage can get before charging. I have seen people mention 12.4 a bit, but then this article here shows being safe at 40% which is 11.9. When I just turned my Norcold fridge on, it didn't take very long to get down to 12.4 while the fridge was cooling.

    Most often 50 % is what is recommended for best battery life, either way you must measure the voltage with no load, i.e. when fridge/fan/lights are off, to get your estimate of state of charge.

    If possible, pre-cool the frig on shorepower and add frozen water bottles. You only have an 80 amp battery, so depending on your ambient temperature and other factors, you may have limited Boondock time before you need your generator.     Depending on our trip length I pack the cooler with frozen meat...whatever thaws first gets eaten first, unfortunately for hubby the last thing to thaw is usually the steak...we also have a " drinks cooler" for drinks and more perishable items..it really helps the norcold along... depending on time of year/ location I have turned the Norcold off at night too.
