2021 Tag Boondock propane quick connect - grill regulator question
Hello everyone, we recently picked up our 2021 Boondock Tag and it has a propane quick connect under the back of the trailer. The tank has a regulator and our Weber Q has a regulator. So our question is does the regulator need to come off the grill in order to use the back hook up? If so we would rather get a grill without a regulator if anyone has any preferences so it would be dedicated to the camper.

Yes you need to remove the grills regulator...from what I understand there is a kit for the weber and blackstone grills.

But the propane connection on the back of the T@G is rated at 10,000 BTU's. Does the griddle/grill get hot enough to properly cook under this situation?

Does anyone know if those adaptor hoses will work on the Kovea Scout burner that comes with Tembo Tusk's Scottle grill?
(assuming, of course, you also using the Scout's propane adaptor)

Anybody ever hook up a Weber traveler grill to the tag gas quick connect at the rear?

You will need to (carefully) remove the regulator on the underside of your grill.
Amazon has a kit with most of what you need to connect where the regulator was... look for key words: NQN propane hose, compatible with 1 lb portable appliance, 1/4" quick disconnect connect for RV to grill.

This package from Amazon had the rest of the parts I needed (and some extras) for doing a similar retrofit for my Webber Q1000 to the T@G quick connect. KEY WORDS: qieoyk 7 pcs propane quick connect fittings adapter for propane hose propane quick connect for RV to grill...
One key part was the 3/8" flare x 1/4" NPT male pipe
Be sure to do the soap bubble test on all connections!
