What do I need to get and what comes with it for basic set up? I went through the manual but didn't see a listing of items typically also needed (beyond sheets, food, etc).
-I think it comes with a 30 Amp cord. Does it? Do I need a converter to get to 15 Amp? If so, what style? Any additional 30Amp extension typically needed and if so what size?
-Wheel chocks? If not included, any recommendations?
-Noticed the manual mentioned two lengths of hose would be needed, but in a section that talks about the hose, it mentions a water regulator. Does the unit come with one and it's just recommending use it or do I need to purchase one?
Is there anything you'd recommend?

First off congrats !!!!
Yes it comes with a 30A cord, my dealer threw in a 15A converter plug. Wheel chocks I use a set of plastic ones from harbor freight, Not sure about the different hose lengths your talking about but I got a regulator and filter from walmart.
Be sure you have a 2" ball on the hitch.
As you camp you will see what you would like to have and what you need to have. And you will soon have too much.

Most folks get a surge protector that includes a polarity check as power columns are not always wired perfectly. If you haven't done so, ask your dealer what they provide.

And your T@G likely comes with a 7-pin plug, so your tow vehicle (TV) wiring needs a matching receptical.

Congrats, and make sure you get some locks, both for tire and hitch, go out and have some fun....it's very easy with the T@G!

If you anticipate camping on less than level ground at all, I strongly recommend the Bal leveler. A piece of cake to level things up in no time without having to mess with difficult blocks.

What kind of hitch locks do you recommend. I bought one to lock down the coupler lever (ie. replace the pin), but it wasn't long enough. I also purchased a Proven Industries coupler lock, but it wasn't the right version. Anyone know what brand/size the coupler is? Is it the same coupler used on T@B's?
Thanks,
Jay

I use the Trimax UMAX100 for a coupler lock while unattended. It is hardened steel with a nylon housing.

While the camper is on the car, I bought a Master Lock 2487DAT because i could not find one with the correct width. It is adjustable and these have worked well for me.

we're still looking for the trimax for the wheel...in Canada the cheapest one is around 95.00..may have to wait till we're in the U.S. again...ditto on the bal leveller have used it 2 x out of the 4 trips we were on...easy peasy...it is heavy though and we use a Costco cooler bag to store ours in...

Having T@G XL Outback, I found Trimax TLC65 wheel lock didn’t fit and I returned. Instead I bought a bigger Trimax TLC75. I will test it out when my rig returns after my solar panel’s factory defect issue is solved soon.
Thanks for the recommendations everyone.
Zurdo: is the cord you're talking about have standard 115v outlet or that larger pinout (like the trailer has for 30 Amp)?
memphiahn: picked up the Trimax TLC75 myself and really like it.
Dan_Ann: I really looked at getting that UMAX100. Similar models failed in about 30 seconds but that one seemed to be made of better steel. I did go with the Master Lock 2847DAT to lock the pin when on the vehicle, but I'm kind of still locking. I saw a video of something similar to it where someone just used an empty pipe to pry it off in about 15 seconds. It was a different model but I'd really like to find something more like the Master Lock Multi Purpose Padlock (model 37NKA), where the shackle/shank is protected from a cutter.
I'm going to post a message with all of my "start-up" recommendations when I get everything up and going. That Precision Industries coupler lock is a beast and will definitely be one of my recommendations.

Nice purchase with the T@G. You should like it.
Plenty of good advice already said. And you will find and personalized other that I hope, you will come share on this forum!

Only picture I have is when we picked it up and I was filling up on gas.
One gas stop = one conversation with someone about the trailer. This is going to be entertaining....

Nice !!
My first encounter with a T@G was at a gas station, the owner opened it all up and gave me the nickle tour. A year later we were owners of a Max XL. And we have given the nickle tour almost everywhere we go.
Enjoy it !!!

I like the license plate on the hatch. So much better than down lower.
@Fourman110 , we have a tread going on somewhere on the forum, about relocating the liscence plate. Can you tell us if your liscence plate holder as a light to illuminate, well, the liscence plate? If so, can you post a pic with the lights on?
Thank you!
I’m not sure if it does or not. My 2018 came that way and I’ve tucked it in a garage on the other side of town.
