Stove not lighting

Hi all, has anyone had an issue with the stove igniter not working? Both burners. Pushing the knob while the gas and electric are on results in nothing. I tried tracing with a multimeter and narrowing the gap between the burner and contact, no luck.

Come to think of it, they haven't worked since I picked up the camper from the dealer, I've just made due the last two years with a lighter. Time to fix that!

My 2018 does not have built in lighters

I dont think igniters happened until the 2021 models came out.

Interesting. Doesn't it look like an igniter underneath? There is definitely an electrical wire running to the burner.

It most definitely looks like an igniter.

The stove has a Safety Ignition System. This is a safety ignition system. The system is mandatory in Europe. The unit is made in Italy. This system will discontinue gas flow to the burners if a flame is not sensed. This system ensures your safety if the gas valve were to be left open by accident. The heat sensor is located just behind the burner (see photo).

There is no igniter! We just use a stick lighter to light it.

I learned the hard way also. Folks here had to explain it to me. Thought I new my stuff.
