We all know the factory mattresses are inadequate. The Dealer installed a basic Froli system in my 2019 prior to delivery. That didn't help much. I then added two REI XL sleeping pads on top of that system. Between the mattresses and the pads that system is 6" thick. Much improved but still not the best. We are both side sleepers and after a couple of nights our hips are hurting.
I'm looking to remove the Froli system then replace the mattresses and pads with two, 28x75 6" gel infused memory foam mattresses. What mattresses have you switched too?

Walmart queen RV memory foam, works perfect
I go with stock mattresses. No additional pad.
I like the ability to easily stack for solo trips. Also keeps thing simple and condensed.
Stock mattresses with 3" memory foam topper. Very comfortable, simple, no complaints.

We found our former tent camping Thermarest air pads to be ideal stock mattress toppers.
I was wondering if they might. We have also thought about putting our thermarest pads under the mattress. Our trailer is new and the included mattresses are acceptable for now.
We added 2" memory foam to the stock mattresses..I placed mine under the stock mattress and hubby liked his on top of he stock mattress...amazing sleeps!

My take, with the cost of a NuCamp, a higher quality mattress should be OEM. Our friends looked at the 2020 for us that we’re purchasing and the first thing they said was the mattress will not be adequate.
We added a mattress topper from My Pillow on top of the factory pads. Super comfortable now. The higher you go the less room you have for your feet under the cabinets.

We have been very comfortable with the memory foam topper. As recommended here, I installed good door hinges with bolts on the under bed storage area.. Now that we think we might be using the under bed storage some, we are going to try the bed without the topper and try our old back packing Thermo Rests as toppers. Also maybe easier to tiddy up.

What size did you get? Two of the cot sizes? The T@G mattress size is very tough to match up at 75x35 (x2).
A few years ago we abandoned our foam topper. It was too soft, which made for uncomfortable hips. We replaced it with 2 twin-size Tempur-Pedic 3-inch memory foam toppers by cutting about 2 inches from the width of one of them. Perfect fit. They're so luxe for camping you almost feel guilty.
