Replace Window - wrap screws and/or use sealant?

If anyone has personally replaced a side window, I am looking for tips. My window had the same problem as many from the manufacturer that provides the windows to NuCamp - unfortunately, the adhesive wasn't applied evenly and the plastic attachment is know to crack. Unfortunately, we are no longer under warranty so $350 later, we have our replacement window.

With COVID challenges, trying to repair ourselves. Looking for tips and wondering if I should use a sealant or wrap the screws that go from the window frame into the RV. Any helpful hints are much appreciated. The dealer close to me is not user friendly and service is sub-par so no call back after 3 tries. Thanks in advance.
