The day finally arrived for me to travel and pick up our new T@G from Tom's Camperland in Mesa, Az. this past Wednesday. Like many good trips, it starts with getting fuel. Only 1350 miles to go round trip.
Then I leave Colorado....
And cross into Utah....
Random view at 75mph crossing I-70....
Southern Utah is SOOO beautiful, can you guess exactly where this is?
Run, Forest, Run!!
And a bit closer view in Castle Valley.
Whew, day 1 complete, at the hotel in Flagstaff, Az.

Day #3 is basically retracing my tracks and getting back home......lots of driving and lots of hiding from all human contact.....Arizona has the Covid in a BAD WAY!
EARLY start to the day, this is after I had been on the road for a couple of hours, somewhere near Kayenta, Az. making tracks quickly for Utah.
A quick stop to see something that I'd always wanted to see but never had...Goosenecks State Park near Mexican Hat, Ut. the San Juan River "snakes" through and you can see 5 or 6 of these "gooseneck" bends from the overlook, very cool!
And, while I was stopped, why not get a couple of glamor shots of the new rig in it's soon to be natural habitat!
And the rest of the drive was just me with my head down and heading for home.....no pics, sorry ;-)

We are very excited to have it home and in the garage! It's all cleaned up and I'm going over everything with a fine toothed comb. Thank you Tom's Camperland and Zach Le Duc for a pleasant transaction. Let the modifications commence!!
Oh, and re-sizing photos is a pain in the &$$, ;-)

Congrats 👍 Got mine from the same place back in June. Didn't have to travel as far as you did, 630 miles round trip from Socal. Have fun modding. I need to post some pics of what I've done so far.
you drove right by one of the great BLM camp places in the US, Valley of the Gods. Great looking rig
Yes, that one river photo is at Gooseneck State Park, so right there!

Mokey Dugway!
your route is one my fave trips: South Rim, Lake Powell, Navajo Mtn, Valley of the Gods, Natural Bridges, Comb Ridge and then north to Moab
Great, an other T@G behind a wrangler! 😎
Lucky you. We go out to pick our 2020 Boondock up in 2 weeks. Ours will end up a lot dirtier than yours. The Trans Labrador Highway can be rough any time of year.
Great
Where do you pick it up? Are you gping down to Blanc Sablon, kind of wondering if the ferry to ste-barbes is opperationnal in winter. Maybe this is why the Appolo was in so bad shape when we got it! 🤣🤣
Back to the pick up, somehow, I would think that the winter roads are better when frozen solid than any other time in spring, summer of fall. ?? ??
Got to drive to Corner Brook to haul it back. Our Province just entered the Alert Level 5 due to a mass number of virus cases including the UK variant. Were at this level for at least 2 weeks. Not sure what the travel restrictions will look like in 2 weeks. Might have to delay it...ugh.
I got to see that in the news today. Election by mail. Wow, it went pretty fast!
Take care!
We're hoping our trailer falls under "essential."
Provincial ferry routes are returning to previous restrictions. The restrictions are limiting passengers to .......residents travelling to purchase essential goods and supplies that are not available in their home community and passengers transporting essential goods.
Just found a company this morning to haul our trailer from Corner Brook to here in a 53" enclosed trailer. Should be here on March 8.
