Disintegrated pump gasket

On our second voyage in our brand new Tag, the pump from the sink began sucking air. I took off the screen filter to find a green gasket completely crumbled inside of it. I work pretty closely with pumps on a day to day basis and feel rather confident that I can locate it and fix it, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
