My wife and I purchased our Boondock T@g XL last June. We love it! Thought I'd share several of our mods and upgrades.

  1. Added cargo tubs to the front storage rack. Secured with ratchet straps.

  2. Built a simple side table and riveted mounts on both fenders so it can be used on either side.

  3. Added a Walmart special luggage rack that we use to carry our camp chairs. It sits to one side so I can more easily get to it and to avoid the fan vent hood.

  4. Added a Yescom awning to the passenger side. Inexpensive and pretty durable. Available from Amazon.

  5. Installed under shelf baskets above both sides of the bed. I place my cpap in mine so I cut openings for the cords and hoses. Used cable mounts to attach to the underside of the cubbies.

  6. Installed a foot shelf on my wife's side of the camper using wire shelving.

  7. Installed an AutoTow trailer brake controller. I love it! I'll never have a vehicle-mounted trailer brake controller ever again. Well worth the money.
