Backsplash Thickness?

Working on my 2023 Boondock 5w. Can anyone tell me the thickness of the galley backsplash? I've got something I'd like to mount with a screw and need to know how deep I can go! Thanks in advance.

    If the plywood is the same stuff as my '21 is built from (and I can't think of why it wouldn't be), it's 3/8" or 10mm. If you mean the decorative metal behind the range, that's about 3/16" to 1/4" thick. I mounted a magnetic knife block to my galley wall with 1" wood screws, and it worked out just fine.


    Note that the galley wall/backsplash and the bulkhead wall in the sleeping space (where your power center & stereo are mounted) are two separate pieces of plywood with a 5"-6" gap between them. So any screw you put in the galley wall won't be sticking through the wall inside your inside cupboards. Not unless you drive an 8" screw into the wall, anyway.
