Has anyone found a way to waterproof & lock the storage tub?

    Waterproofing will be tough as the bottom is open mesh....so the propane can vent.

    I asked my service center about putting a padlock hasp on my tub for security. I was told that I might not want to do that because trying to rapidly unlock the tub to shut off the propane tank in case of fire might be a problem, especially for a firefighter who obviously wouldn't have the keys.

    Just something to consider.

    That's the reason they don't come with locks.

    There's a federal DOT prohibition on locks on propane lockers.

    We used one of these but never lock it.  Don’t tell anybody.
