2018 T@g XL Outback Mods

I LOVE our T@g!! Having the camper has renewed my spirit. I have cancer and have not been able to camp for several years and was really bummed about it. Then, our T@g, which we got in July 2017, has saved the day!! Given my health constraints, and the fact that I now come with a lot of the "conditions" which I used to make fun of on commercials, and I want to be independent, several mods became necessary.
1. Moved the drain system from underneath the camper to the outside. No more crawling around.
2. Made "wing walls" for the galley. No more stove flame out and a bit of added privacy.
3. Added pneumatic lifts to the bed.
4. Added a door kick behind the sink and stove for easy cleanup and protection.
5. Added peel and stick tiles as a back splash for easy cleanup and protection.
6. Added an open basket shelf for my CPap machine.
7. Made no-see-um screens for the windows and doors. The buggers think I am tasty because of the medications....

We also have the 5 x 7 side tent and LOVE it!! I keep my oxygen concentrator in there, and it gives us a place to change clothes. The large dog crate is in it as well.

As a fellow struggler with major medical conditions it warms my heart to hear of someone else who has found a refuge and motivator in tiny trailers! Thanks for sharing your troubles and triumphs! (And mods) I don't know what I'd be doing if I hadn't been lucky enough to find my new obsession. We're not out of the woods, but it's now much more fun to be in them...

I extended my grey water drain to the side of my SS as well. One of the best mods I’ve ever done. I have a hose that connects and drains into a greywater tank. No more sliding under the LG. Yay! Think I’ll give the galley wings a try. Thanks for the share.

Like you, I made some no seeum nets, I used small bungee cords that wraps around the window frame a little bit like a sock would do. But what you did could solve my issue about doing one for the stargazer window. What did you use to old it in place?

Check out the picture with the screen rolled up. You can see how I applied it. I applied it just outside the frames.
