2024 T@g Black Canyon, faucet handle contacts sink before getting to 'hot'

When I bought this unit used, the seller did comment that the hot water never really gets hot. Haven't used the trailer yet, but since running bleach through the system I think I now know why: The faucet handle, as it rotates to 'hot', comes into contact with the sink below, and the further you rotate toward 'hot', the more it contacts, forcing you to decrease flow as it is rotated toward 'hot'. Before you can rotate to full 'hot', the flow stops.

Has anyone seen this issue, or know how to address it? My hot water only gets warm, and I believe this is the reason. Also, is there any way to know that the hot water is actually on if yo cannot get hot water? There seems to be no on/off indicator light, and the seller told me that the switch is actually wired backwards from a normal light switch (I'd like to label it once I figure it out for sure).

Thanks for any help with this!

Had a chance to take a closer look yesterday, and found that the faucet had been mounted slightly askew (i.e. the horizontal part not level). Loosened it and re-mounted it level, and now the faucet handle doesn't contact the sink except for at the very end of its travel (full hot).
