Brakes - Squealing and Groaning

We have a 2021 Nucamp T@G Boondock. I bought it from Camping World in 12/2024, and as part of their conditioning the rig for sale, they put new electric brakes on both wheels.
We've done several small trips, including bringing the trailer home (366 miles). This past weekend, we took a camping trip to Winchester, TN, which is about 280 miles from our home. Upon arriving about 20 to 30 miles from the camp, the brakes make a groaning/squealing as they come to a stop. At low speeds, it's especially noisy. I checked the brakes when we parked at the campsite and neither was hot. I could put my hand on both drums and they were warm, not hot, to the touch. The next morning, no noise until we got about 100 miles into the trip.
On the way in, I thought it might be that the RedArc was set too aggressively (it was set to 5 on the drive down), so I set it back to 3.5. This made no difference; we still had a lot of groaning/squealing from the electric brakes as we came to a stop.
Any recommendations on how to troubleshoot this issue?

I know with a new camper, nuCamp says to adjust your brakes after 100 - 200 miles. I would start there.

Not sure what kind of brake controller you are using. But, you may want to check your brake controller on the tow vehicle and adjust???

I'm using a RedArc Liberty with the gain set to 3.5.
