reversing lights and back-up camera

Hi, I had my Subaru outback fitted with a proper 7 pin connector and an Echo brake controller. All works fine, the question is; where does the centre wire in the plug, the one that drives the reversing lights get terminated since my 2021 T@G Boondock does not have reversing lights? I want to fit a reversing light and a back-up camera onto the trailer. Do some T@Gs come with back-up lights. Is the 7 pin connector even wired for this? Finally, is there a proper wiring diagram available. Thanks everyone.

Hi, just back from 5 days camping in the heat in Price Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Still learning but happy with our purchase. I understand from your comment hat there is no in-situ wiring for reversing lights. I would still like to know, preferably with a wiring diagram, where the cable goes. Is there a termination box? I imagine that the factory uses a standard 7 wire cable and simply ignores the centre wire. Thank you for your efforts in general and for your help on this question.

I have searched the forum for a junction box diagram to no avail. if someone has been in their junction box and taken a photo, please share it. @offgrid2 - your best bet may be to email the factory at help.nucamprv.com.
The back up cameras that I have seen installed in tags and tabs are wireless.

I'll have to look at my T@G on my next day off to confirm this, but I don't recall seeing any termination box of any sort. I think the 7-flat plug simply doesn't have a wire connected to the center terminal at all.

Great Response from NuCampHi Simon.Thank you for being a part of the nuCamp family! You are indeed correct that the central yellow wire is for the back up lights. As you are also correct that there aren't any reverse lights on a Tag, so that connection is just ready and waiting to be useful. We don't have a whole-camper wiring harness available, but I've inserted a couple of photos explaining the 7-pin and it's junction box.If you follow the wire pigtail from the 7-pin connector back, you should find the it leads to the junction box on the first frame-rail crossmember below the tongue box.

Thanks for sharing offgrid2. I corrected my entry to reflect that the tabs and tags are not wired for back up lights. The seven pin is wired for back up lights!
