Belly pan

I just bought a 2024 Tag XL(2nd owner) 1st bought it 4/30/2025.  On the way home. I found the belly pan hanging down. I crawled up under the Tag. I could see where the screws were over tighten on one side. I emailed NuCamp and got this response
Good morning,

Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. Unfortunately, this would not be a warrantable item as this would fall under #7 of our warranty policies that we do not cover. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you,
Is this typical of NuCamp?
I was very surprised because I did a lot of research between the NuCamp and Bean teardrops. What sold me was the Customer satisfaction. Now I feel I may have made a mistake.

The one year warranty only covers the original purchaser.  The 3 year warranty is structural.
If the dealer sold it as brand new/hardly used, I would ask them to make good on resecuring the belly pan.

@BAXMEDIC, did your dealer come through for you?

My 2024 5-wide Boondock (bought new in Seattle) had the same issue with the bellypan, only I did not notice it before the whole front piece disappeared (sorry Arkansas.) We stopped at a dealer in Texas, he looked at our rig and what was left of the rear bellypan and wrote a nice email with photos to my selling dealer. It was clear to the Texas dealer that the plastic was brittle and the hardware was over-torqued. I guess I was lucky in that it fell off within the first year after purchase. Back in Seattle, my dealer (took the better part of 3 months in order to) replaced the belly pans, front and rear (and also replaced leaking door seals). Dealer added large fender washers to attachment hardware. I've had no problems with the belly pans on our latest cross country trip.

If you still have the belly pan, with $10 of hardware and less than an hour crawling under your rig with a battery drill/driver, you'll be back in business (even though you shouldn't have to...) Sigh.

Was pulling our camper down interstate 10 through Phoenix when the underbelly, unattached and went flying out the back. When I pulled over to secure the rest of it underneath, I noticed that the front wall of the camper has separated from the frame. This campers is less than a year old.
I’m still waiting on NuCamp to approve the repairs under warranty.
I did talk to the shop about placing angle iron or aluminum in front of the plastic undercarriage so if it cracks again, the wind doesn’t rip it off.
The wall separating should be just more glue and bigger screws that aren’t self tapping in style.
