I'm Faye (recently retired) new to the group and looking forward to getting the most out of my new teardrop (2025 T@G XL Boondock).  The dealer worked with me and I was able to get it with all the upgrades.

I took it out last week to Boone NC and to Hanging Rock, NC.  Next week I'm heading out for a multi-day music festival. As a long time back packer and car camper, I'm really looking forward to the upgrade camping experience.

Hopefully, the community can forgive me for not first scaling the images down.  I forgot to do that before posting.

I have a question regarding the side mounted tire and how to remove it.  The manual calls out a 3/4 in tool, but my dealer uses a 21 mm deep socket.  I don't know how any socket can fit down into the cylindrical opening.  Which section of the group forum should I post my question regarding the removal of the tire?

    Welcome to the group.
    3/4" = 19.05mm
    Happy retirement!

Thanks James!  I graduated with a BS in applied mathematics, so I can do the conversions quite easily.  The problem is the nut that is holding the tire in place on the side of the camper is larger than a 3/4 in nut. I purchased a generic wheel lock for side mounted spare tires to help protect the side tire and when I went to put it on, I found that the camper does not come with a socket sized appropriately for the nut holding the tire in place. In fact I stripped about 5 mm of the edge facing off of one lug nut using my 4Runner tire iron.

I stopped at the dealer where I bought the camper and one of the technicians showed me what he uses and described as an automotive deep lug wrench for 21 mm nut.

I have a standard 21 mm socket, and it doesn't fit deep enough into the cylindrical opening to actually grasp the face of the nut.  I don't think it is possible and I actually believe the wrong nut is being used on the threaded mounting stud.

    He said he uses this:

That looks like an impact driver socket.
I use a 19mm for my stablizer jacks, lug nuts and crank for spare tire.
I think I got it from Home Depot.

Wow, thank you for the added info.  I went to Lowes and picked up a 21 mm deep socket 12 point and a 21 mm semi deep socket 6 point socket.  Both fit well within the cylindrical fit, but they actually feel a little bit loose / sloppy.  I used the 6 point socket and was able to loosen the nuts. One of the nuts was problematic;  I'm 66 and 118 lbs trying to use a socket wrench w/ no leverage, but I did finally get it loosened.  The 6 point socket was 3/8 drive.  I would have preferred to use a 1/2 in drive, but I didn't have the right adapter.  Long story short, is that I think I can work with it for now until I can get the tools I feel comfortable with to change the tire in a pinch.

Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.  It is truly appreciated and helped me to keep moving forward.
