Does T@G SE XL accommodate the same mods and upgrades as other models?

I am considering buying the minimalist T@G SE XL. But I would like to make modifications and upgrades in the future as I get a better sense of what I need. I know that the SE lacks many of the features of the other models and that some items, such as the AC unit, are not in the same location. But I am curious to know whether it is structurally different. Or does Nucamp start with the same frame and shell and just add more things to the Boondock than they do to the SE?
