The NuCamp CEO posted this on Facebook today. Apparently they have a fix for the gap between the window screen and window rails. They will provide it for free if you are having a problem with bugs getting past the screen. Another reason to love having a T@G is the support NuCamp provides to owners!

LuckyJ...as we'll be going to UCamp18 we said we could wait rather than them having to send them across the border...how many more days any ways...will have a project at UCamp for an afternoon...wonder if we'll have helpers...

You can drive along 10,000 miles, and still stay where you are.
I installed the window screen fix, brush rail supplied by NuCamp. It took 45 minutes to do the 2 side windows. I didn’t do the Stargazer window because it’s a 2 person job.
The only recommendation that I have that differs with the instructions from NuCamp is don’t take the white string out. Just loosen the black set screw that holds it in place, pull out the slack and retighten. When you disconnect the screen from the frame the string falls down and you will have to restring the window. If you just loosen and pull out the string a little and then tighten it back it gives you enough slack to take the top frame piece off and install the brush rail. If you need more slack, pull up the window shade from the bottom about 3-4 inches.
The black set screw is very small and if you take it out and drop it, good luck finding it. Another reason to only loosen and not take it or the string out. Afterwards loosen the set screw and use needle nose pliers to pull the sting back thru and tighten. Be careful putting the window frame back and don’t over tighten as it’s just screwed into the wall board, not metal.
It’s not a difficult job but if you are hesitant to remove the window screen take it to a dealer or have It done at Ucamp18. You will need two different size hex screw bits.

I installed the brushes today. NOTE: Before removing the Stargazer window, check to be sure it doesn't already have the brushes. I removed mine only to discover it was already equipped. I don't know why the window manufacturer didn't install brushes in the side windows, since the frame slots were clearly intended for them and since the Stargazer included them.
It's an easy fix, though.

I did the Stargazer window later with my wife helping to hold it. Didn’t want to break the plastic trying to get it back up on the wall by myself. Mine didn’t have them.

Ok, question, does this fix replace the actual "too short brushes" or simply install brush that were non existent. Cause the brush we have in ours are just to short to do a good job.
There weren’t any in mine. These close up the gap to the screen/blind.

Thanks, I will have to measure mine, I think they are shorter and less dense.
I am so confused - the NuCamp directions are horrible! Are we supposed to take the entire shade off the wall?
If you're careful you can remove one screw in the corner of the shade that screwed to the wall.
it allows for enough Flex in the shade to feed the new felt up into place
So not necessary. Check out this thread for Window Screen fix #2.

Received today from NuCamp before they went on vacation the warranty item “fuzz” for our bugscreens. (part # 66-00-5054 BRUSH / PILE WEATHERSTRIPPING W11mm x H13mm) They sent me both their method and the one on the T@B forum. Wish all my mods were this easy. Screens work fine before and after. No bunching anywhere. Mosquitoes don’t bother me, but DW says she is their queen
