Strange it doesn’t give the deminsions but it looks like about 5x5 for five wide and 6x5 for XL. I can’t see spending this much for a cover with sides on the clamshell. An attached canopy is around $100 and a large canopy with two sides which you can park under isn’t much more. This isn’t large enough to use as real living space. Since it’s new you probably won’t find reviews
Personally, I would use a Hasika/Laputa canopy from Amazon. We use it on our TaB galley. It is lightweight, simple, attaches easily with large suction cups and can be used in a variety of arrangements. They go on sale and if you use CamelCamelCamel it will let you get it at a better price.
The very similar KingCamp version has some additional vents at the peak
Lightweight, versatile, and inexpensive. We also found ours on Amazon for ~$100
We have the same tent from Leader Industries (I suspect they are all made in the same factory in China), got that one because it came with a free side wall that can go on either side or the end. 99 bucks if I remember. The tent in the original post is $679!
There are variations of the above tent out there. In my opinion if you buy any rear and adaptable shelter for a trailer you would be better off buying something with side access/zipper style access panels on each side. I used a similar tent on one of my Little Guy trailers and had to adapt it to the rear. It was basically a screen room but did have a fully enclosed rain fly.
I used it for a while but ended up buying the Paha Que 10×10 XLT Cottonwood canopy that I still have and use today. It is a very sturdy, well made structure and will adapt to the T@G and T@B trailers and you can also buy sidewalls too. Comes with two attached sidewalls, one with a sewn in Keder rope and one wall can be used as a rain fly, the other can be used to extend shade further to the rear of the trailer or for a picnic table, etc.
We originally found ours and one before it by searching "SUV hatch tent". Several choices were available designed to pair with the hatch of SUVs. It didn't take much to adapt to the CS hatch.
What I like about this, is that it can give bug and wheater protection from all side as you cook and since I am not the type of transporting a complete seperate kitchen set-up to cook under a bug canopy, this could be interesting in case of bugs. But still pricey.
I have a 15 ft version of that shelter. Got it for Christmas. I figure it will cover the T@G and give me room all around for those rainy trips. Can't wait to try it out.
We use this Rightline SUV tent. Works great. We spend most of our time back there. Large screen doors on sides and large screen window out the back. All zip up for rain or privacy.
Thank you all for your feedback!! I specially thank @Tjjordan for introducing me the Rightline SUV tent, which turned an essential item for my camping life. I practiced the set-up/break-down at home before hitting the road and I now can set up the tent under 10 minutes and break it down under 5 minutes. And it worked! My wife now keeps our T@G with this tent. The quality of the tent is quite good except a splitting pole and it was quite warm/near hot staying inside without a fan. During the summer, I will carry a fan when setting up this tent.
I hope you enjoy camping with T@G in this gorgeous spring season.
I can’t say that you could not, but you may need some work to prevent any leaking issue btw t@g and the tent. I would rather have two tents as shown below:
Let me say all the above options are just great. Last December I purchased (on sale by 15% off) for my 5 wide TAG the Paraque Claim Shell galley tent. Upon arrival it seemed quit complex with all the Velcro needing to be installed, positioning and then the collapsible tent support polls. End result was that with the kidder rail in position, and having to remove 2 inches from each roof support polls and over 4 inches from lateral tent roof poll, all went in place and unit performed admirably with an inexpensive ground tarp and indoor floor mate from after market. I have not as yet used set up in rain, so cannot speak to that issue if any. Plus, it is required in hot climate that you position some sort of fan inside unit for air flow even with windows open to screens, it can have tent heat build up. Another issue is also that the kidder rail properly installed came loose at each outside position about to half way, which loosened the attachment of the tent to the trailer. I have sense redone with Gorilla 30# double sided tape of rail to trailer. Have not had opportunity to fully test this set up to see if rail stays attached, but may in late July on camping trip.
And not sure how it will perform in a rather windy camp such as out west. Prefer there just a shade shelter over galley. Here is a pick of my set up with Claim Shell Galley Tent. Bill
Everything was great until heavy rain hit us overnight in Atlanta where we visited. Under the heavy rain, I felt strange and I opened my door toward the side tent. I found the tent heavily soaked and the tent was literarily leaking everywhere. I had to improvise a rainfly from my kitchen tent.
I did not know the tent was not waterproof (just water repellent).
But I did not want to give up the tent since I spent hours to adjust it for my T@G. Then, I purchased two waterproof tent tarts for both top and bottom while spraying polyurethane waterproof tent sealer.
One question, on the 3rd pic, tye bottom grren flaps, are those from the ground tarp, or bottom wall extensions? If it is the ground tarp, try to fold it so nothing will pass the sides of the tent and stay under it.
Same primciple of a tent foot print tarp that should not be larger than the tent it self. So that watwr will fall to the ground and not on the ground tarp, seeping in the tent floor.

Thank you for all the insight! We tried a Rightline SUV tent on our galley and found it to be terrible...tore VERY easily, wouldn't stay level, and it had about a foot and a half at the bottom of the side entrance that our elderly dog (and us) had trouble getting in and out of. We've since returned it and found a post 2018 10x10 Pahaque that's en route to us as I type this. Excited to give it a shot.

I also swear by the Hasika. The included suction cups are crap. Order a couple aftermarket suction cups such as these:

But it is not on our plan yet!
This Coleman Mountain View has two side walls and they can be placed on any side. Costco sells it for around $140.

The Rightline is a great alternative to have a privacy shelter and weather proof cooking area all in one.
The Rightline is a nice option. It looks a little too short to accommodate a TaB clamshell galley. Very spacious!

Ah okay, thanks! What kind of a side tent are you using? Love the setup!
Do you think this would work on the side of the TaG?

Hi @tag816 ,
I wish I could reply earlier but I had to test and retest something before saying anything.
Last month I set up the Lightspeed side tent after adjusting it for my T@G trailer using my ham-handed sewing skill.

In my trip to Nashville over the July 4th trip, we underwent another heavy rain that tested the coated side tent.
It passed the test and I was so happy. This time I did not set up the kitchen tent to minimize any works and the side tent did its job.
Happy camping!
@Memphiahn. nice recup on your project.

@LuckyJ ,
Thank you! You are right and I had to set it up in the way what you suggest. But I compromised myself under the hot & humid Nashville summer:)
