So that everyone can enjoy your photos, please resize them as required. There are numerous methods to resize phone photos which are probably the main culprit. If you have an iPhone - email the photo to yourself and choose the “medium size” and the photos that you receive in your email will be appropriate sized for the forum. Or use the app Image Size or Crop Size. If you have an Android phone, the app Image Shrink Lite is easy to use. Just set it up to the size listed below just once and you can easily reduce your photos.

For "landscape" shots - please limit your photos to between 700-800 pixels wide.

For "vertical" shots - please limit the photo size to between 600-700 pixels tall.

Thanks for the app suggestions, I'll have to try them out. I've been wanting to post some pics but have been holding off due to not knowing how to resize them.

I use an iPhone photo resize app called “Image Size.” Pretty simple to use, convenient and handy. Once you use it a few times it is easy.

The only problems I have with thos apps is that the resized pics are not identified once the reduction is done. Unless I simply do not know how to work that out on my phone and I pad.

@LuckyJ, on Image Size, once you set the size, you never need to do it again. It is so simple, click to open your photos, choose the photo you wish to load, then click to download. The resized photo is saved with your other photos in Recently Saved or All Photos.

I know they are somewhere, but since the original is still inthere, sometime I just do not know witch one I am grabing to upload.

On my phone I also use Crop Size and I think a spontaneous file was created. Makes it easier to locate the downsized photo.
