TV and dvd player

A couple of times either our tv or dvd player (or both) have turned on in the middle of the night while we were asleep. The remote is kept in the cabinet behind the tv when not in use so, there is no chance of accidentally turning it on. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Nope, never to us in since we got the T@G in june 2017.

    Not sure about the TV, but the dvd player/sound system has an alarm function that turns it on at a prescribed time. Is something with that happening maybe?

    Other than that, my only thought would be maybe someone with a similar system in a near by rig? Though that seems very very unlikely for a number of reasons.

    Can't say I've ever experienced that. Hope you figure it out!

    I have Xfinity and the DVD box turns on periodically at 3am and blinks. The DVD box is updating. It only lasts about 45 seconds. My TV has never turned on by itself however.
