OK, I lied. I didn’t quite finish this mod till today. I decided to stain the sides and put a piece of tin to cover the hole. See pic. OK, now I’m done
@lipcio said: @Bob297 Where did you find this door knob with lock visible in first photo?
I purchased the Mandy TV Mod from nuCamp. They have my vin, so they matched up the wood stain with original. The kit comes complete with everything you need, including directions. I was told by someone there that they have discontinued making this mod kit. They might have some left over on a shelf somewhere though. I’ve seen knobs similar on Amazon and other internet cabinet sites.
PS Since these photos, I put satin polyurethane on the sides that I stained—stain now looks closer to original.
Sorry, can’t find my paperwork. My order was for more than this item, so I don’t want to guess. I can tell you from my experience from many, many calls over time, that the parts department has been excellent service to me. I have never seen this high class service in a RV department anywhere else. I think they are working from home now due to the virus. You can expect delays because of this. This is not how they are normally, so don’t hold it against them.
Yes, included door with knob already attached, bottom & back piece, wood 1x1” pieces to mount the wood, all hardware/screws needed, directions. See pics below. My door came with a piano hinge instead of what is shown.
I’m not sure if it’s just me but NuCamp doesn’t want to take direct orders anymore. They told me to talk to a dealer… Double cost of shipping and added profit from a dealer. Not to mention it will take much longer… Just wanted to complain a little 😊

Time to change policy 😊 Honestly I think they lose some customers because of this (unless they don't care).
Got quote yesterday - $159 for the kit in matching color
Wow, I didn’t pay anywhere near that price. I told you I didn’t want to guess cause I couldn’t find my paperwork, but it was in the $80’s Maybe cause they didn’t have to make mine and just took it off the shelf? Try another nuCamp dealer? They are not all equal. Though this mod can only be obtained from nuCamp. You can make it yourself and save $$$. I have found parts that are a direct match from other business, that can save you money. But the nuCamp parts department has bent over backwards to make me a happy camper.
I was planning on buying a 2021 T@B 320 earlier this year, but my closest nuCamp dealer didn’t want to bother. I asked them on parts (axle parts) and they would not get back to me. I went to etrailer instead. I found another nuCamp dealer further away, that bends over backwards to help. With the down turn in the economy, we decided to not purchase the T@B. But at the time we were and would have. That dealer costs nuCamp a sale.
I found my local nuCamp dealer very un-helpful and un-friendly right after they learned I had purchased a used T@B from a private party. I guess the time/money just was not in it.
For the life of me I can't figure out how folks are ordering things from NuCamp. Even when they still allowed orders, I only received 1 thing (microwave delete kit) out of 5 total I tried to get. As Kate McKinnon's character on SNL says: "My experience was a little bit different". It doesn't bother me anymore, but for a long time I was having trouble trying to see what all the "great service" hype was about. I couldn't even get warranty parts from them. Tried to get some help on my wheel rubbing on the tub problem. Nothing... Tried to get some new graphics (I was trying to PAY for them!) to replace the ones that were peeling off and crooked. Nothing.... Now I don't try. I just source what I need from the net, or just make it myself....

Good job! You will enjoy that. Seems like nuCamp really wastes a lot of space back there.

How much was it? I need to call them tomorrow...

Was everything in the picture included in this kit? Door, knob, hinges, shelf and back cover (everything stained to match your color)?

Cool. Thank you for checking. I sent them an email and they replied they can make one if there is none in stock.

I just found out by accident that NuCamp price is $56. I'm going to cancel order with this dealer. Paying $100 extra just for shipping looks steep.

@WilliamA - he said “nuCamp price”. Nothing said about ordering from the factory.

@lipcio, I agree with @Bob297 - try another nuCamp dealer. There are several identified over on the TaB forum that are awesome and fair. Try:
Missouri Teardrop - https://www.missouriteardroptrailers.com/
Miller Trailer Sales - https://www.millertrailersales.net/
Beckley’s RVs - https://www.beckleysrvs.com/
Princess Craft - https://www.princesscraft.com/
Anyone who has ordered parts can add to this list. I think we need a thread on what dealers have been supportive in member’s parts quest.

Missouri Teardrop Trailers quote was $90.94 - wow...
