I have a 2018 T@G Max and live in southern California.
My insurance is through my auto carrier (Wawanesa). I pay about $105 per year. I have a $300 deductible (comprehensive/Collision) and paid an extra $9 per year for Manufacturer Replacement Parts.
Maybe I'm wrong but my agent told me Collision is covered by your car insurance while towing. The only reason to have additional insurance is for storage damage or theft when you don't travel (not connected to your vehicle).
My insurance agent with Allstate is quoting me $602 a year for total coverage with the highest available deductible at $350. Seems a bit high. Progressive quotes me $444 per year. Wonder if I can have a separate policy on the TAG from the car?
I have been with Safeco since '71
Our 2017 Tag with agreed value of $15,ooo, is $92 for comprehesive, $36 collision, $6 Roadside assistance
Might add that our '61 Avion received major damage in a shop last year
and they (Safeco)paid $11,ooo . Had $100 deductible. We kept the insurance check and sold the Trailer as is for $15K. Was a restored '61 polished Aluminum. 21 footer.

I think there needs to be a little more research here. Tow vehicle insurance only covers liability to others while towing. It does not cover trailer damage. You need a different policy for that. Better talk to your agent. I have Geico and my collision, liability (while in camp) and comprehensive (theft etc) is around $200 per year for my trailer.

Talk to a Progressive Agent. Their policy is very complete and protects the trailer and contents when not attached to your TV. I believe that covering the trailer with your auto policy covers it only when in motion/attached to the TV.
The Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company. I have my home, 2 vehicles and now my T@g insured with them. I have found their rates to be very reasonable, on everything.
Just paid my insurance (Wawanesa) a few days ago. Insured through my auto insurance policy. Annual cost $105.78, which includes vehicle manufacturer replacement parts ($9.62). Coverage is both comprehensive and collision. I decided to add the extra replacement parts coverage to have the upper hand in the parts area. Really not needed.
Homeowners insurance normally covers personal items stolen from your vehicle and/or your trailer. Nothing is needed to be added to your honeowners insurance for this coverage.

You can and beauty of this is that you can have insurance for 4-5 months and cancel it when trailer is not used and stored in safe place like garage.
Collision helps repair any damage to your trailer if you cause an accident or collide with a stationary object while towing it.

TAG 75605 - who is your insurance with?

We pay $87/year, full coverage with State Farm. I don’t remember the deductible, but it is low—I think $500.
Hello Group,
Just curious what you are paying/using for insurance on the TAG.
Thanks - AB
Sorry - I posted prior to running a search - new information still welcome.

Adding is a very easy process.
.
I believe my company added part to my auto insurance and part to my home insurance.
