Does your back hurt when using Tag kitchen?

I’m looking to purchase a Tag. However, in reviewing pictures it looks like you have to bend forward to use the kitchen. Is this an issue for people? Looks like it may create terrible ergonomics. Thanks

    It's a non-issue for me @6'1, and for my wife @5'3.

    If you're over 6'3" it may pose an issue, but I am 6' and can stand straight up. Due to the shape of the hatch, if you stand back too far, your headroom will be a little cramped. You just have to find the sweet spot.

    I have the Boondock version so it sits higher. I'm 6ft and have no problems.

    we had a boondock and my wife and I are both 6', the counter top is perfect when flat, if the trailer is on a down slope obviously it will be low

    I dont stand on anything. Actually, the countertop is higher than those in my house.

    Outback/boundock here, I'm 5'9" and GF is 5'6 and no isues. The floor /ledge you are talking about is maybe 6 to 7" inch and the counter is not very deep, so you mostly work on the fr9nt edge of it. So unless you have T-Rex arms, you shoild be fine. Is you have more cooking, and preping, you will probably use a picnic table. I sometime pull the fridge out and use it as a work table.

    I kind of thought the same thing. We haven't yet used our kitchen but just standing at it seemed fine.

    I am 5’2 and it takes strength to close the kitchen. Luckily I recently had a shoulder replacement . Otherwise it would really hurt to close it.

    If the springs are too strong for you, you could add s9me weight to it when you open the door like sand little sand bags, just enough to keep it open, but enough to reduce the pull strengh necessary to close it.

    We're utterly torn right now between the regular and the Boondock. My husband would like the extra height, but I'm a shorty and am worried about being able to reach.

    Excellent! We've been piling books up on our kitchen counters today and putting pots and pans on them to try to replicate the height and I think we've come to the same conclusion - I'll be able to deal (and we can get me a step) a whole lot easier than him having to hunch.

    Two things:
    First, the leveling of the trailer is essential when using the kitchen. You can’t do a thing in that space if you are far off level.
    Second, get a folding camp table. If you are at all like me, the lack of anywhere to put anything while cooking could make you crazy. The camp table lets me have a place for my plate, paper towels, etc.
    The TAG kitchen really is very good for the tiny space.
