Propane, Garage and Winter

People who store your T@G in the garage - do you remove your propane tank and store it outside, or leave it in the T@G? Has anyone bought a propane monitor/alarm and if so what did you get and where did you install it?

  I keep my T@G in the garage and I dont remove the tank.
