Boondock door grab question
Anyone know how the door grab handle is secured to the side of the vehicle?
There is no frame and no through bolts / backing plate. Nutserts?

Double sided tape

I have no clue how it is secured. Backing out one screw would tell if nutserts are used. (fine thred vs course) use some sort of sealent when you reinsert (don't over tighten). My guess would be course threads. Just a guess. Any double stick tape would be in addition to the six screws.
I would view a handle like this as a high risk/liability area, so I would hope it is well secured.

Bob297,
Their directions were double sided tape? The double sided tape was already on it. I believe it was 3M. Went completely around it. If you prep right, this stuff won’t come off by pulling it. Before I installed the screws I tried to test its strength. I pulled and pulled on it rocking the 6W T@G, and it wouldn’t budge. Then I screwed in the screws and also used clear RV silicone. They told me how to do it. I then asked a nearby NuCamp dealer about it, and they removed the screws to see also on one they had in stock. Same way.
