I notice that when the batteries died, you are unable to cook on the stove.
Apparently, the stove has a valve that closes itself when the batteries die.
Does someone know how to manipulate that valve? So then you can cook on the stove.

There's a device mounted on the burner that senses temperature and controls the gas valve via an electric circuit. After you start the stove, it allows the gas valve to stay open only if it senses a flame.

There is a solenoid that cuts off the supply of propane when the hatch is closed. It requires power to allow propane flow when the hatch is open. Here are a few threads that will help.
