Galley Cabinetry Removal

Has anyone removed the galley/cabin cabinetry to access the airspace between the galley and sleeping cabin on a T@G? I have a 2022 Boondock 5' Wide, and I want to remove the heater, and install a diesel fired forced air unit. Having to be plugged in, or use the genset, for heat, doesn't seem very 'Boondock'!

    I'm curious. Why diesel when you already have propane?

    Using a propane heater in such a small space will cause a lot of dampness issues. Propane releases water vapour when it burns. Diesel doesn't. I've used these heaters on boats for years, and they're very efficient.

    All combustion processes produce water vapor. Diesel fuel is no exception.

    Are you comparing propane heaters that burn directly inside the heated space with a Diesel heater that heats the space via a heat exchanger?

    Since you need to have the windows and the vent cracked anyway to dispel moisture, I just don't see the advantage. But I have no experience with diesel heaters.

    Well, I've used the trailer for 3 nights prior to the Easter weekend, and it's brilliant! It was -6C - -8C overnights, and 19C in my trailer. Sips fuel and produces hot, dry, enjoyment!
