2023 T@G Boondock Fenders

I have a 2019 and hate the fenders. The new fenders on the 2023 Boondocks look a lot more durable. Are the new fenders able to be retrofitted to previous year Boondocks? If so, is this bolt on (DIY) or would this be something that would have to go back to the dealer or factory?

    Has anyone contacted nucamp re: this? Seems to be the simplest solution, especially when you would need to purchase the parts from them for this upgrade.

    AAMOF, I did... They say yes; older T@Gs can indeed be fitted with the new fenders. Contact your local nuCamp dealer for parts & prices, or if you're near enough they can do it at the factory service center in Ohio.

    Hello, I looked into getting the 2023 fenders retro fitted onto our 2022. Our dealer in Canada wouldn’t touch it. So I contacted service at Nucamp directly and they quoted me $2000 USD (essentially $1000 a side) We live in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) and I thought if its only $400-$500 I’d make the trip to Nucamp and get it done at the factory…but $2000 is too much. We will continue to use our step ladder to reach things on the rack! Hope this info helps.

    I was just in communication with nuCamp warranty directly concerning our 2020 fender issues. In goodwill, they are shipping 2 new fenders to us. I inquired twice about getting the 2023 fender setups and the warranty dept. said they are not sure if they will fit older T@Gs. I was hoping for a voucher so we could purchase the newer ones. She basically said she would not send us anything newer than our original....due to fitment issues.

    I just called the warranty department and they checked and confirmed that they will not fit older T@Gs.

    With that....what is the process of removing the original diamond plated fenders and installing new one? From what I hear, it's only sheet metal screws holding those into the sidewalls.

    Here's what we did to reinforce ours recently and even sprayed them with bedliner.

    That's weird. I emailed nüCamp Customer Service a few weeks ago about retrofitting '23 Boondock fenders to my '21 T@G and they said the new units would fit fine, but I'd have to contact a local dealer for pricing & part numbers. Maybe their Warranty Dept. and Customer Service Dept. have differing parts books?

    The difference could be a Boondock vs. Non-Boondock? Just a thought.

    Maybe so, but I think aside from the axle they probably use the same frame & body shell.

    Yea, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, but I noticed @csonni had a non-boondock and wondered.

    Dunno... When I inquired, I specifically noted to nüCamp Customer Service that my T@G was not a Boonie.

    I tend to think Customer Service and Warranty may have different scripts here, and CS's is more accurate. Of course I have no proof of this; it's just a gut hunch.
