Correcting a mistake?

Before we even have a chance to camp in our new T@G (after ten years in a T@B), I made an innocent mistake.   I cleaned my car windows with some glass cleaner and set the spray bottle down on the front storage bin of our T@G parked in our garage.  I forgot about it overnight.  Apparently some liquid dripped down the side and onto the storage bin.  Now I have a dull and dark tarnished spot.  Any ideas on how to restore the original shine?   Pertinent info:  there was ammonia in the glass cleaner.  Is there a fix for this boo-boo or do I learn to live with it?

    Sorry for the mistake.
    I would suggest searching google
"Remove and clean ammonia tarnish off of aluminum"
It will give you a variety of solutions to potentially solve your problem.
    Good Luck

Update:  Looked around at options and found a product called Brasso.   Used it with a lot of elbow grease and it removed the tarnish after a while.  Pleased with the results.
