Crane heater filter replacement

Just bought a 2021 TAG Boondock that came with the Crane heater model number EE6490. It will not stay running. I found online that this heater has a washable filter on the back side of the heater... Does anyone know how to remove the heater from the wall?
It appears the "overheat" switch in the heater is shutting it down. I've contacted both Crane and NuCamp but have hot received a reply yet.
Thanks...

Were you able to figure it out? I just bought a 2021 XL with that heater in the wall but I can’t get the heater to turn on despite the thermostat and outlet functioning properly. It would be nice to be able to troubleshoot the heater itself.
