We are removing our water tank since it was a lousy design from the start. Has anyone removed theirs? Helpful hints appreciated.

While not the best design, it still functions fine for 6 gallons or so.
Why take it out?
Seems like a lot of work with little reward and maybe even decrease the value of the trailer.
I rarely use mine, because a 2.5 gallon jug on a picnic table does the trick just fine without the use of electrical usage.

Taking it out to give a bit more room in that area. Also virtually impossible to clean without a drain plug.

I clean my tank and lines about once a year. Very easy. Clean flush flush fill. Easy.
Your call if you think the extra room can be used to make a significant difference.
After 7+ years, a little extra room would be fine, but if not easily accessable the extra room would be used for ? ? ?

I use my onboard water for washing dishes and rinsing off items with the hose. Seperate 11 Litres in a water jug from home for coffee and drinking. To me, the space that tank takes up, isn't very large, water on board is handy.
