Thanks for the very nice and well done video! Nice job! I've been mulling over the sleep arrangements for my T@G but haven't gotten around to doing anything about the ever-flat bed system. Actually, I haven't found the stock mattress to be too bad, but my oldest son (urban-dwelling gen-Xer) goes with me a lot in the summer and he's constantly whining about the flat mattress. On the up-side, he just bought a Jeep too, so by the time he's done adding all of the cool, (heavy) manly add-on Jeep swag and mashes his fingers doing it, he'll toughen up a bit.
Seriously, I had been thinking about doing this for a bit but other projects keep getting in the way. I for one had been laboring under the misconception that the Froli system had to be fastened down with screws. I'm happy to see that it does not need that. I'm also concerned about weight and it would seem now to me that the Froli doesn't add much weight to the hatches. Any estimates about how much total weight it adds? A wild guess would do nicely. Last, about how much does the system cost?
I mostly travel alone, but having added all of my manly cast iron parts to my own Jeep, I find that my 60 something frame could use some parts that are closer to the softer side of the equation....
