Does your stove automatically light?

No, your stove does not have an auto igniter....mine diesn’t either.

I have a friend who installed a similar igniter stove and the igniter wore out within two months. Maybe we are better off not having the self igniter?

This is what I found out with mine. Reason why you have to hold the knob press down until the burner is,hot enough to remain on. Also thought that I would have neen able to mod this for an igniter. But still think I could install one form a barbecue.

I have been using a long lighter for about a year now on my bbq at the cabin now for about a year, always swear at me when I realised I still did not fix it. My bb at home as been working with the same internal lighter for 20 years. Had to change the burner a couple time.

Yep, I have a tendancy to keep my stuff. Lol.
