New Tag was ordered today!
I sold my A frame camper yesterday and just put a deposit down on a 2019 Tag XL Edge.
I should have it by mid July and can't wait to become a functioning member of this forum.

You can drive along 10,000 miles, and still stay where you are. -
Okay, I'll bite. What's an "Edge"? I looked on NuCamp's website but couldn't find it listed. Photos or links?
Welcome to the site, by the way!

Interesting. Is that an awning attached to the inside of the clamshell? Looks like an upgraded entertainment system head unit in a new enclosure.
-
Well it finally arrived at the dealer, will take delivery this Thursday and head straight to the mountains to break it in.

-
So they renamed the "Boondock Edition" the "Edge" then?
-
I guess so, they are just trying to keep the design fresh. Not a big difference really, an awning and some led lights, same basic package.
It's a good marketing strategy to keep the product current and updated. -
I like the mountain graphic. Wish they'd ditch the clunky fender design and get something closer to the standard model.

Perso, I prefer the alum fenders.
A few weeks ago, I did a 10 miles dirt road to reach a cousin cabin on a lake for a familly outing. I know that road like the back on my hand. The TV is a Jeep LJ wrangler with after market extra wide and extra low mub pads on the rear wheels. Well, on this total of 20 miles dirt trip ( 10 to go and 10 back) were the gravel was loose, the front of the aluminium fenders go it so bad, that they dented from hits, and I could alomst assume heat deformation.
I can only imagine how bad fiberglass fenders would have looked like.
