Jensen DVD issues

Went on our first week long trip with our Boonie at Lake Eufaula Alabama and Kolomoki State Park in Georgia. We did find a couple of issues with the Jensen DVD player and am wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. While in the second hour of watching "Good Morning Vietnam" the volume starting randomly changing up and down on its own. Another night during the second episode of "Bones" the picture would pause for about 10 seconds and then continue on its own. Anyone else have issues?
My guess is maybe the player heated up and caused these anomalies even though we were running the A/C - kinda warm in the southeast right now. Thanks for any thoughts.

    While running the AC, did you run tha ac exhaust fan?

    Yes we did run the exhaust fan.

    Sounds like a defective unit. If you’re still under warranty I would recommend you get a replacement.

    We had the same issue with the sound just randomly going up. I thought it was maybe an issue with moisture in the trailer because we had rain on and off for about 5 days. Maybe I should have it looked at by the dealer while I have the trailer in for some other issues. Wonder if it would be the tv or the Jenson DVD?

    IMHO....Jenson or not, audio/visual toys just don’t do weird stuff these days unless there is an issue with the circuit boards. Solid State means just that. Outside influences on electronics, especially RV related electronics, are rare.
