L1 error code on Norcold fridge

we are getting this every time out now, after a couple days the fridge shuts off and the temp window shoes L1 code. anybody know whats going on ?

  I also see L1 oP means High Temp limit switch is open. You have to go to the dealer for that one. But, dont take my word for that. I've heard others say it may be wired incorrectly.
