Full time in a T@g?

Would anyone consider a T@g for full time RV life? Why or why not. I come from backpacking and prefer to be minimal and simple and I am interested in anyone's thoughts on it.

    its a lot more cushy than a rooftop tent setup and most van conversions

    Yes. Mandy Lea Lived in a T@G, T@B 320 and now a T@B 400 with her partner. You can go to You Tube to watch some videos or search the internet for her.

    You can live full time in a cardboard box. You'll note Mandy Lea, over time, went to a larger RV twice. What's that tell you?

    If you've already made up your mind to full-time in a T@G, then have at it. My point is that people have lived in tents, cars, yurts, cardboard boxes, and even in a sleeping bag under the stars full time. Some by choice, some not. It is not a question of "IF" you can do it, but what quality of life/comfort you are willing to put up with while you do it. I like my T@G a lot. But full time in it, even alone, would eventually be too tight. On a sunny, mild day I can sit outside, drink a beer and enjoy the outdoors. But after a week of rain, not so nice. Could I survive? Yes, but this is not the kind of experience I seek out. Only you know you and what you're looking for.

    Having a potty is awfully handy in the middle of the night or a foul weather day. I do miss the Casita and the indoor plumbing on our trailers that were vintage restorations. We started out well over twenty years ago with a Tear Drop I restored. We are back but not full time. Getting dressed and changing clothes can be something to consider.

    I think you could adjust to living in a Tag full-time if you had one or more attached tents.

    Hi! We're planning our second cross-country trip in our 2016 T@G XL. After the trip last summer, we decided a side tent is too much work, especially for one-nighters while underway. We've purchased a standard 10' easy-set-up canopy with 4 sidewalls. It fits over the top of the T@G and provides us both privacy and standing room and is much easier to set up.

    BTW, we pull the T@G with a 2016 Subaru Forester, manual shift.
