Hello everyone! i was curious about the mattresses or pads that come in the T@G XL boondock. My wife recently ordered a custom 8 in mattress, gelfoam to fit the boondock, it arrived today, and noticed the bed weighs 80 pounds, considerably more than the matts and o degree sleeping bags do. we load most of our stuff into the bed of my Dodge 1500 Hemi Rebel, it has off road capabilities and plenty of power, no towing issues. I do not have anything on the tongue except the propane tank and battery, likely because i have not figured out how much extra weight i can put on there, although i have read several posts on the subject and will do mods to the hitch adding a generator and locking mechanism hopefully around june, any feedback is welcome!!
