Newbie here! Can anyone help me determine the unloaded weight and model name of this cute little teardrop we just purchased? She is 5 ft wide with AC, DVD player, and no battery shut off switch
The 2016 Little Guy T@G teardrop trailer has several configurations, but a common model, the T@G XL Max, has specs including a dry weight of around 1,150-1,388 lbs, a length of about 13'7", and can sleep two people. Key features include a 2-inch ball mount hitch, 30-amp electrical service, and amenities like a kitchen area, and heating/cooling options. The T@G Basic is lighter, at about 995 lbs, with a slightly shorter length, and the T@G Max Basehas a dry weight of 1060 lbs and is about 163 inches long.
@UncleStu Your 2016 T@G looks a lot like my Standard 2018. I bought mine used in late 2018. Put on around 21,000 miles with no major issues. Hope yours provides the same.
I find it odd the you have no battery shut off switch. I would view that as a must have. Cost for one is around $20.
Per Google AI, "The 2016 T@G camper models may or may not have a factory-installed battery shutoff switch, as they began to be included mid-year in 2016."

So, this info tells me that my new rig is older than mid 2016. Thanks
Little guy released new models in April of the preceding year. Your 2016 model was probably built in the second half of 2015 and at that time, a battery switch was not included. The company frequently makes model changes mid- year.
Check the label on the front frame. It should note the build date.
