Hi All,
We are new T@G owners and loving it. However, we encountered an issue at the end of a camping trip a few weeks ago; when the pump was activated, water streamed out both the faucet and the municipal water (pressurized) connection on the side of the unit. Tracing the piping suggested that a check/non-return valve forming part of the connection fitting(?) must have failed "open". Connecting to the municipal supply and flushing through the faucet didn't cure the problem so we've contacted our dealer and NuCamp for the repair recommendation. In the meantime, we are using one of these fittings threaded into the connection:

This has restored the proper operation of the system (pending repair) by allowing manual shut-off. It is pretty simple to install/remove (the cover cannot close with it in place) and we've enjoyed the use of the water system on our most recent camping weekend.
It might be handy to keep one in your box of spares.. (Even less expensive in the US) . Dave K

“Recently, while disconnected from city water and relying on my fresh water tank, I turned on the water pump and had water coming out of my city water inlet - a significant flow. This meant that the check valve, or “one-way valve” that is at my city water inlet had somehow stuck open. When this valve works correctly, water will not pass from the fresh water tank through the pump and out of the city water port. To fix the problem all I had to do was pop off the little screen at the city water port and gently press the visible valve (white button) with my finger a couple of times. This unstuck the valve and fixed the problem.”
Hope this helps!
