I'm looking at the TAG XL. What is needed to tow an XL compared to a TAB 400? - like trailer brakes or other additions? Given you have a tow vehicle. Thanks I'm new to the XL.
So I don't need trailer brakes or sway to tow a T@G? That is good to know. Will I be able to move the T@G around by myself when solo camping? I'm about 5'5" and 125 lbs.
The TAG will come w/ electric brakes, you'll need a brake controller; our tag XL Boondock w/ battery/Propane was right at 1700 lbs, I called & confirmed...I tow w/ a 6 cyl. Tacoma, tow package was included, I personally wouldn't pull w/out one, especially around here in Va. w/ the various up/down terrain, but that's just me...moving it around by yourself MAY be a struggle depending on the surface, you could try moving one where you're looking to possibly buy
I purchased a 2020 T@g XL (not Boondock) model. It has electric trailer brakes. I simply added a brake controller and had my Subaru Outback wired for the 7 pin harness to allow trailer braking and T@g battery charging when towing. I was advised by dealer not to add anti-sway system.

compared to a T@B? what is needed is less. Any decent crossover will tow it

125 pounds will move it around on cement and smooth dirt, chocks are mandatory when hand rotating
The new T@G may have bakes. Out 2017 does not.
