What is the safest and easiest way to remove a decal that the buyer had on the T@G I just bought? It looks like some of the letters are starting to peel and I would like to remove the whole decal.
I removed the T@G logo with a hair dryer and decal remover only to find the paint on the rear hatch is micro thin. Now I need to find out what color white they used in 2017.

Try searching “graphics or decals”.

I would try a blow dryer and se you can get to start peeling and use a small plastic squeegee to remove it.
I've used GooGone to remove stickers and tape residue on my T@G with good results. Takes some patience and rubbing.

I simply used a blow dryer and one of these https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Scraper-Sticker-Remover-Application/dp/B07TVM7W35/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Plastic+Razor+Blade+Scraper,+2+Pack+Scraper+Tool+with+100+Pack+Plastic+Razor+Blades+Decal+Sticker+Remover+Scraper+Tool+for+Auto+Window+Tint+Vinyl+Tool+Application,+Easily+Remove+(Blue)&qid=1612042010&sr=8-1
I use this for auto, but also used it to remove the hatch rear T@G decal during winter. Came off easy on my 2017. Had very little adhesive to remove. I used another remover than goo gone. But either works fine. As far as paint match, contact NuCamp and they can tell you. Their customer service has been second to none. They sent me a touch-up bottle for my gray. Perfect match.
