Solenoid for propane?

So this wire popped out on my last trip with my Tag, and I was told later that it is the solenoid switch to shut off the propane when the hatch is closed. However, I have no clue how this item is supposed to be installed and how it sits inside the strut housing to reinstall it. I don't want to drive to my dealer (2 hours) to fix it. Does anyone have a picture or a drawing/schematic of how this sits inside the plastic strut bracket?
