We have some friends going to look at a 2020 T@G Boondock Lite tomorrow as we're in Labrador and are unable to pass through Quebec to go see it at this point. It's a new model for $21,500 which, is quite reasonable compared to other prices across Canada. Any advice on what to ask the dealership before turning over such an amount? We will need to get a 7 pin connection installed on our Dodge Grand Caravan. We are planning on having them store it there till we can come down in the Spring to pick it up. Should we ask if they install the 7 pin wiring there on site? I would imagine they give the unit a quick checkover (bearings) before we were to haul it away.

Mt Highlander only had a 4 pin connector when we purchased our tag. I bought a cheap set of magnetic tail lights https://www.harborfreight.com/12v-magnetic-led-towing-light-kit-64282.html and used them to tow it home. Had to fasten them to the rear hatch handles on the trailer with plastic ties but it worked fine, Once home, went to a local service station and had a seven pin connector added.

theres a used T@G listed on this blog in Ontario that looks loaded
Our friends had a good look at the T@G. They sent us a bunch of pictures. Two, I noticed, had to do with gasket seals. One is where the gasket seals the front window (the gasket is split and doesn't look like good quality control) and the other pic is the right top where the kitchen galley door is raised. That looks a little shoddy as well. The trailer has been sitting in the dealer's lot all summer, so, I understand a bit of grime. Is that metal trim seated in a bed of silicone and screwed down? Seems like a quick silicone job, no? Is this typical of NuCamp?

I now see that there is a rubber flap that spans from the trailer body to the galley door. Once that rubber is compromised, that's quite a job to pull the 2 metals trims, scrape up all the silicone and replace.
