The only uses that comes to mind....
1. If someone had a 100 watt solar setup with a 10 amp controller, they may be able to add the 40 watt and max out the controller and get some additional solar generating capacity.
2. If say a 100 watt system was fixed on the trailer, the 40 watt panel could be moved around to avoid shade.
3. Final thought, if someone had a smaller capacity solar generator the 40 watt could be used to recharge the solar generaor.
My thoughts is that #3 is the likely possibality.
No. When I asked what the fitting was on the side of the Battery/Propane cover. The previous owner told me it was for the Solar and the panel was under the bed. I think he only used the trailer couple of times.
