Hi, folks--
Just joining this forum (a little prematurely, since we only pick up the new TAG XL Boondock next week) and finding many of our questions answered already from your previous posts. Thank you for those.
We'll be traveling from Upstate New York to see kids and grandkids in NC and TX and camping in between, and eventually going camping for the sake of enjoying new places without other destinations ahead of us.
At least one of us will occasionally have to keep up with work online, so one question would be, since the interior of the camper is wall to wall mattresses, what kinds of rigs have people figured out to sit up and work on long documents on a laptop?
Many thanks, and looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome campers! As far as sitting up to do laptop work.....if you plan on doing this a lot, this was one of the main reasons Mandy Lea stepped up to a T@B. The T@B has a table and is only a little heavier than a T@G but you can stand up and it has a bathroom.
Thanks for the welcome, Bob. We thought about getting a TAB, but since both are so small, we'd thought we'd prefer to cook outside. Guess I can just use the laptop in my lap when it's cold, or on a picnic table when it's not. See you in the out yonder!
@CharlieNY - you may want to consider a side tent that attaches to the Keder rail. We have a TaB clamshell with the side tent and it gives us a lot of good sitting area. Nice when it rains.

Sitting in a T@G, you will always endup on your but, with legs elongated and the laptop kind of on .....you lap. Some came up with some bed cushions and just above lap tables. I think I also remember someome here installing a bord under tge matress withna hinge that allow them to incline the head portion of the matress. But do not remember if thwy were only using on side of the matress. That set up was in the middle of the door.
Some small teardrop company have come up with a way to fold the matress so they can have a table to eat and work. But I so no way I could get inside by a door when the table is in the up position.
If you work and think hard enough, you should come up with a way that works for you guys! 😎
