The 12v cooler draws power all the time, so if I happen to forget and leave the T@G wire connected to the truck, does that mean I may be stranded in the Boondocks the next morning?
If your TV has an isolation relay, no power should flow to the TaB once you turn off the ignition.
A simple test to see if you have a charge line and a TV isolation relay.
Turn off your T@G battery by turning off the battery switch.
Attach the 7-pin to the TV and then crank the engine.
Turn on an interior trailer light. If it comes on, you have a charge line.
Turn off the engine, if the light goes out, you have an isolation relay. If the light stays on, you do not have an isolation relay and you can drain your TV battery if you leave the 7 pin connected and the trailer draws down the TaG battery.

Only if you had a poor battery in yourTAG to begin with. The 12V cooler cycles so you're not drawing full current all the time. Though the best solution is to install a switch. I installed this https://www.amazon.com/Ampper-Battery-Disconnect-Isolator-Vehicle/dp/B07413JWLD?pd_rd_w=rkGbJ&pf_rd_p=9ac6cc26-c474-44d5-bbf8-fa96b06e33ac&pf_rd_r=7651PRJW27PWR95ZFX6E&pd_rd_r=2c37868f-9ccc-4827-8794-d1be42b7b8b6&pd_rd_wg=BPagd&pd_rd_i=B07413JWLD&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_csi_pd_ys_c_rfy_rp_crs_1_i on our 2016.
I also carry one of these in the TV. https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive/battery-tools-accessories/jump-starters/450-peak-amp-portable-lithium-ion-jump-starter-and-power-pack-62749.html I've used it twice to start other peoples vehicles; have not had to use it on ours. Charge it once a month.
