Removing shelf from galley

So excited to be a part of this forum! We recently purchased a 2017 T@G XL and are loving it! We are looking at making a few modifications, and like the ideas shared here. One thing I would really like to do, is remove the shelf in the galley. It is small and it is in the way of the outlets. Plus, to me it seems to interfere with the countertop space. My question - has anyone successfully done this?

My 2018 standard 5 wide does not have a shelf in the galley. It does have some stock wire baskets on each side. I wonder if the shelf was factory (nucamp) installed or after market.
On the 2017, it is factory installed. I think it was left out starting in 2018!
You should found screws in pocket holes inside the shelf. Might have to climb a bid.
LuckyJ - thanks! Located them, and you are right - a bit of body twisting will be needed to remove
